Travelling to Chamonix and around the valley

Geneva is the closest airport to Les Houches at only an hour’s drive. Chambery and Lyon also have airports and are close by. Easyjet offer some of the best deals for flights, and some real bargains can be found if you book well in advance. They offer direct flights to Geneva from Gatwick, Stanstead, Luton, Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, East Midlands and Bournemouth. By Car
If you have decided to drive from the UK to here in Chamonix, it is approximately 500m from London and 415m from calais and should take around 7 to 8 hours from Calais. The road is almost all motorway the entire journey.  For bookings of Ferries or the Eurotunnel, P&O, Seafrance and Ferrysavers offer some great prices.

Local Public Transport in the Chamonix Valley
Your ski pass entitles you to unlimited free access to public buses and trains within the four villages of Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix and Vallorcine. Most stops have buses leaving every fifteen minutes to all areas of the valley and Chamonix town.
